The longer stroke of the 4.6 makes it produce more torque, especially at lower rpm, but it also limits piston speed and probably won't tolerate as much boost as a 4.0.

I had similar thoughts. I'm considering 30-pound injectors.Cheromaniac wrote: ↑December 1st, 2022, 10:33 pm That looks like a pretty decent kit since it includes an Eagle 4.06" stroke crank, Scat forged rods, and custom forged pistons with a 9.5:1 CR.
The supplied 24lb injectors are probably too small given that this stroker has 300+hp potential.

What RPM is a 4.06" stroke limited to?Cheromaniac wrote: ↑March 5th, 2024, 10:43 pm The longer stroke of the 4.6 makes it produce more torque, especially at lower rpm, but it also limits piston speed and probably won't tolerate as much boost as a 4.0.

Since the bottom end is forged, I'd suggest no higher than 5900rpm.Brianj5600 wrote: ↑May 26th, 2024, 12:33 pmWhat RPM is a 4.06" stroke limited to?Cheromaniac wrote: ↑March 5th, 2024, 10:43 pm The longer stroke of the 4.6 makes it produce more torque, especially at lower rpm, but it also limits piston speed and probably won't tolerate as much boost as a 4.0.

I am running the 5.0 stroker . It is in a Ultra 4 stock class Jeep. I have had a lot of trouble with tuning mine. I gave up on a stock ecm modified tune and now have a terminator x . I am still having tuning issues. I am going to try a LS throttle body next. It runs good at full throttle, actually very impressive at full throttle, But you cant run full throttle all the time. I also added the roller rockers, but it still want rev over 7000.
