Courtesy of rust pottinger, who takes no responsibility for selling me a moldy and rusty crank that's been bouncing around his shop since March of 22. No box, no paperwork. I had to contact Promaxx to get this info. rust said that they don't come in a box when he orders 30 at a time. Promaxx vehemently disagrees! Charged me max retail and even an extra $150 to balance it. He dumped this turd on my wife. Way to go rust!

Not sure where you are at with this build. It is possible the 2 upper O2 sensors were "deleted" with a tuner such as HPTuners and thus not throwing codes. Not sure how that didn't flag in CA. The precats were definitely cut out and the bungs for the upper O2 sensors plugged. Not sure if the precats failed, were stolen or what not.StrokerGal wrote: ↑July 22nd, 2023, 3:59 pmThanks. It's so bizarre. This XJ passed Ca emissions too. What happens to the censors in this situation? They seem to be deleted. Does the stock PCM allow this? The lines are not welds btw. The pipe is expanded or swaged according to my Dad. Always something...Cheromaniac wrote: ↑July 21st, 2023, 11:19 pmYeah, someone definitely deleted the pre-cats and replaced them with straight pipe. You can see the joints where they were welded in.StrokerGal wrote: ↑July 21st, 2023, 10:38 am the existing exhaust manifold has two plugged sensor holes. No pre-cats on this vehicle. My Brother's 2001 has pre-cats. I just wonder if someone deleted the Pre-cats.
In UT you could probably do a long header. Or you could get the cats and O2 sensors and go back to stock with a header such as the banks torque tube or aFE twisted shorty with your Edelbrock head with some corrective tuning to bring the upper O2s back in.
