I got a hp tuners and I am slowly learning how to use it before my stroker is put in. So far ive learned how to set up the scan features to scan the perameters the ecm puts out. I did a data log of driving around the block and noticed the timing curve goes way high around 45 degrees at part throttle at around 3000 rpm. I also noticed the timing drops off rapidly under higher map mpa readings which I can understand to a point but they seem really low for a naturally asperated vehicle at around 25 degrees. Ive timed many naturally asperated small and bigblock chevys over the years and never have gone over 36 degrees and even with a full blown 572ci with 9pounds of boost locked at 30 from idle to 6500rpm with absolutely no detonation. I just find the factory timing a little different. Im sure there is some power to be squeezed out of the factory timing curve and know for a fact bumping the initial timing with give you more out of the hole torque. Heres a copy of average timing advanced hits on my jeep driving around the block.

I bought 2 unfortunately. DO NOT BUY FROM ELITE RACE FAB. YOU WILL RECIEVE AN MPVI3. They are not selling the 2.
Lethal performance had 2 left with 8 credits a few months ago. Call and confirm they are looking at the MPVI 2+ Box!

Hey Enzosrock,
I fully doubt you will see this any time soon, but in the off chance you do, how did you arrive at that timing table and what all have you done to your engine? I also have only around 20-24 deg of timing at WOT and that seems pretty low. I'd like to bump that up but still be able to run regular 87.
Also, I'm having an issue (or at least I think it's an issue) where the timing bounces all over the place at idle and you can hear it in the exhaust and see the tach jump slightly. Is this normal for a jeep engine?
I've put the logs up on HPTuners forum, not sure how I could post the log here, but you can take a look over here:

Thanks.
