Post by Sammyguy »

Opinions on this kit https://www.cleggengine.com/stroker-kit ... -kits.html and this cam combo https://www.cleggengine.com/jeep-4-0l-s ... t-kit.html I recently purchased both and the block is currently being bored 30 thou over and honed. I also oreded the 24 lbs 6 hole injectors from them as well what kind of power should i expect?

The low 8.8:1 compression combined with the longer duration cam isn't ideal for low rev torque production. On the plus side, you'll have no problem running 87 octane fuel.
The Clegg kit is fine except for the ICON pistons that leave ~0.027" of deck clearance unless you mill the block deck.

Since you're likely to add forced induction, your chosen combo will be fine.

It''ll increase by 0.11:1 i.e. too little to make any difference.
