Buying a jeep tj 4.0 to stroke
Thinking of buying a 97/98 tj to stroke. At what mileage on the 4.0 is it better to just buy a new stroker engine or a stroker kit? Most tj i have found have 100,000 plus miles.

Given that the youngest 4.0 engine is 12 years old, you'd be hard pressed to find one with less than 100k miles but it doesn't matter. A decent runner will do as a core that you could rebuild with a stroker kit.
Russ can fix you up with the parts.
