I have a 98 Jeep TJ, which I am converting from a 2.5L 4cyl to a 4.6L stroker 6 - the usual formula, 4.2L rods and crank, 30 thou overbore, comp 4x4 cam, harland sharp roller rockers, decked, blueprinted, ported and polished.
The 4.0L came from another 98 TJ and when I salvaged the engine, I also took the PCM and engine wiring harnesses
My question is, will the PCM work as is? Or will I need to reflash it (ie at a dealership)? Any problems running a stock PCM with a stroker six?

Re: Jeep TJ PCM for Stroker Six
It has been my experience that the stock 4.0 ECM will run a 4.6 stroker just fine. At least mine is.
