Will this work? Any advice?
I have an upcoming project that I'm in need some opinions on. I have an 88 YJ and am planning some engine mods. Here is what I am planning. Just looking for general input. I have a Rebuilt 258 Engine and will add 4.0 7120, head SBI valve springs, MC2150 Carb, DUI distributor, Comp Cams 68-235-4, ARP rod and head bolts, Clevite Cam Bearings and new rod bearing while i'm inside and Moly Rings. I am looking for some improvements hopefully around 175 HP and 275 TQ. Is this asking to much? I cant quite afford to go the stroker route and would like to keep some originality (thus carb vs mpfi). I will be porting the head and smothing out the intake manifold as well. Any other sugestions to squeeze out a few extra horses? Also what jets would be appropriate for this carb (MC2150 1.21 Venturi size) Thanks in advance for your input.

Maybe a different intake manifold? Clifford has some. Headers. 2.5" cat back exhaust.
