Re: Roller Rockers & Adjustable Valvetrain
I know I'm bringing this back from the dead, but after reading all of this the main question I have is this; will the stock OEM stamped steel rocker arms (I'd buy new ones at least) handle the added stress from stronger spring rates on the Mopar Performance springs? That is my only concern. It would DEFINITELY save me several hundred bucks on my build as well, and I think that several others may have the same question in mind..... And Gonridnu, Thank you for the VERY extensive and informative write-up. It is very much appreciated and very helpful. Thank you!

Re: Roller Rockers & Adjustable Valvetrain
I have never heard of anyone bending or breaking a stock rocker arm.
I went with adjustable roller rockers for a few reasons. A) Adjustability. Makes setting the preload precise and easy, B) More accurate rocker arm ratio, closer to 1.6:1 than stock, C) rollers will transfer/create less heat, less heat transferred to the heads, less change to detonate.

Re: Roller Rockers & Adjustable Valvetrain
Just make sure the stock rocker slots can handle the added lift without hitting the pivot (where the rocker bolt goes through).

Re: Roller Rockers & Adjustable Valvetrain
I haven't heard of anyone bending or breaking one either, but I'd like to be able to take that out of the equation.
(Paranoid much!? )
The lift on the new cam is .430. and duration of 240, if that matters.
But all in all, you guys don't see any issues with this set up? (As long as clearance is good on the rocker slot?)
