Hello,
Im new to this particular board but I have been creeping around a few other for a couple years. Anyway I have my 4.6 stroker built. I will be starting the actual swap as soon as it gets warm (I'm in MI). I am not a master mechanic by any means so forgive me if my questions are stupid.
My next step is mating the AX15 to the engine. I have the Novak conversion pilot bushing, Is there anything else that needs to be done while putting the two together?
Once I have the two together, I know I have to convert over the clutch to hydro, does anyone have a good write up on this procedure?
Thanks
Doug

The 97 block and the ax15 should bolt right up...
As for the clutch, could you take the whole thing out of an XJ and basically slap the whole thin into the CJ?

Now I can be like all those other awesome people with more than one Jeep in their sig, but now I have to say one of them is sold:(
97 XJ 4.6
90 MJ 4.0 - sold
I want to have as many Jeeps as children. DD, offroader, drag MJ and another one. 4=4

as far as switching the whole set up, I wont be able to. I know i need to convert to YK pedals in order to make the pieces match up. What I am wondering is is that all there is to it? or are there more steps involved that i am overlooking?
