Post by Flash »

Just some trivia , that i didn't know!!!!!!
Why is there "no" storage tank at you local gas station for you Favoite MID GRADE FUEL..........But there is a pump for it????????

there is only High test and low grade.......................Mid grade is brought out of the ground or tanks, thru a 50/50 mixing valve!
Do they do this every were, or is it just Wy :o

I think in the past (I am old) Some did even more mixing than they do today, We hot rodder kids had a favorite Sunnoco station that the operator would turn the grade selector lever a few clicks past the last marked grade (Sunnoco 220 if I remember correctly) and deliver a fuel that seemed in our young minds to make a difference at a premium price.

Do Sunnoco stations still carry 98 octane (or was it 96)?

Back home in Sarasota they used to sell 106 racing fuel in the middle of all the pumps at one of the Sunocos. It was only at that one, and I havent seen it offered over here in West Palm.
Now I can be like all those other awesome people with more than one Jeep in their sig, but now I have to say one of them is sold:(
97 XJ 4.6
90 MJ 4.0 - sold

I want to have as many Jeeps as children. DD, offroader, drag MJ and another one. 4=4

I think sunoco's high test was ultra 94, they had a cool sticker that was on the pump. Im pretty sure that the gas station neer one of the local race tracks here still sells 110, or maybe it has to be bought at the track, I dont remember.
