As a new member I would like to say hi to everybody and thanks for a eminent forum.
I would also describe my stroker project.
My project began as a 4.0 twinturbo charged engine but as always you want more and more.
I build the first turbo charged engine 2 years ago and this have work nice all the time.
The setup up for that engine was 2 turbochargers TD04-12t and larger injectors I also mont an intercooler on it.
Next step was a Megasquirt programmable injection I also make a special EDIS ignition that suits the Megasquirt without an expensive EDIS box and coil.
Picture of the last setup for the old engine.
Test of turbo manifold

Engine ready for firing up

Now I have built a new 4.6 stroker engine and mount the turbo charges on.
The new engine also runs at Ethanol to get out more power and less heat that could damage the engine.
The new stroker engine.

Next step is to mount the new manifold and airintake thats nearly ready.

Very nice. I like the 6 coils you go there and the attention to detail of the work. What looks like the new exhaust manifold of the turbo going over the valve cover also looks interesting. What are those 4 green hoses coming off the back of the coil pack?

These are the water inlet and outlets from the turbocharges, they are watercooled.

The function of my special ignition and how it look when it runs could be seen here.
Ignition just ready.

Because it should be easy to look for failures I have an LED connected in every step of the circuit.

That engine is Insane!!! what hp and torque are you expecting from that set up? 8-)

I have not run it in the dyno yet, have some modifications to be implemented first.
But I have calculate the engine in our calculation cluster (work in a factory that design to car industry with an own engine lab and 3 dyno but only for engine not hole car).
The calculation say 500+ hp and 650+ newton with full turbo pressure 1.2 bar that's the engine is build for, today I only run at 0.6 bar because to small fuelpump.

so about 17-18 psi full boost, and currently running at about 8-9 psi. 650+ nm is about 487+ ft lbs. not too shabby. are you sure your internals will like having 17 psi or 1.2 bar?

This engine should be sick. I'm drooling all over my laptop.

My old 4.0 engine I run at 1.0 bar without problem for 3 years and the new engine is much stronger parts inside and also lower compression so I think it should not be any problem to run at 1.2 bar.
But the time should tell if it is so :D
In spring next year before the race season I hope the last modification is implementet (New turboexhaust, new intake, bigger fuelpump, Special ignition, computer controlled automatic transmission AW4)

are you planning any upgrades to the aw4? what about an intercooler?

He said hes running ethanol. My experiences with turbos say he'll prob not need a Intercooler with alcohol. It has a high detonation threshold and excellent cooling characteristics. Look at turbotoms setup. E85(85% ethanol) on a 4.0 @ 1bar = 450ft/lbs

BTW: Welcome to the forum. Im real giddy to see how your setup turns out. What are the specs on this new turbo?

It's already an intercooler on it, but probably I change it too a bigger before race season, the AW4 I planned to computer contol so I have the possibility to decide which rmp it should but in the next gear so I can optimize the gear change to the engine setup.
On my wish list it also an upgrade on the AW4 to 600lbs rebuild kit but I have not found where to buy it yet.

seems to me its a supra that uses the same trans, and the tuner crowd has a few tricks about shifting this transmission, but im not big on tuners so i cant post the link. i am sure i saw it here though. as mentioned, turbo toms 4.0 build is a good one to check out, not stroked just turboed on e85. made good power but destroyed another piston and decided to make a change to a chev 383, unfortunately. i liked that build alot.
