Hey guys, Newb-E here.
Ive been looking thru' this forum for months now, and i finally made and account.
I have a bunch of toys, 2- xj's, a 96' cobra, 01' caddy, and have owned everything from 71' international dumptrucks,to RM250 dirtbike. So Im not a newbie to engines, suspension or anything that is propelled by a combustion engine,
but Im not an expert scientist either.

So I was wondering turbostroker', how exactly your distributor/coil setup work with the megasquirt?
Are you using a crank trigger of some kind?
What megasquirt are you using?

Ive had alot of experience with tuning ECU'S, and aftermarket standalone systems, And im really starting to like the megasquirt-DIYauto- setups. How do you like it? Is it fairly easy to learn?

thanks in advance

I like megasquirt because it's easy and cheep it's also do all the things that I need.
I use the MS2 with V3 board.
My ignition setup work like these, the megasquirt fire the spark depending on the cranktrigger but the megasquirt are set to control only one coil.
Then the distributor tells my circuit which coilpack the megasquirt should fire.
Now I have the new turbo setup ready and tonight I should change oil and fire it up for the first tim (I hope :D )
Here are some picture of it.

The first start went well, some few fuel leagage but easy too fix.
Now I have start too map the injection and are close too finish that.
I have also mount the new hodd with a scoope.
So far I very satisfied with the engine, great torgue and much more power than I need :P
Now I see forward too the first race with it.

Now my jeep is a Quadfuel and have run with gas for the first time.
It's built for unleaded petrol, Ethanol, CNG and hydrogen.
My plan is to make hydrogen at home with solarenergy so it's don't cost anything.
The microcontroller i have program so it's automatic runs on gas then I drive on bigger roads (speed sensitive) if the pressure is enought, if pressure is low it runs automatic on fuel again.
The gastubes came from a Ford Crown Victoria police car from USA a guy has imported to Sweden and disassemble the gassystem from the car.

Yes I use an Arduino Uno R3 controller and a shield for connections these have all the pins I need to contoll both the system and a Lcd display and a couple of pins extra.

I have just start breaking things, my gearbox or my NP231 broke yesterday.
Suddenly i got a nasty sound from some of these.
So now I must hurry up my projekt with the rebuilt AW4 and NP242 that's I have rebuild so it's now computer controlled and programmable.
That's should been able too shift gears in 3 ways depending on settings, computercontrolled, manual with gearstick and semiautomatic with switches on the steeringwheel.
All is programmed and ready also the console that's should replace the original.

It's control the AW4 gearshift with a wire and a homemade gearshifter.
I should not have any gearstick at all, both the NP242 and AW4 shifting are controlled electric with microcontrollers and electric motors.
And the most inexpensive slow 12v electric motor is a 12V battery screwdriver so I bought one and take the engine and gearbox from it.

Now the AW4 is in place and working.
Also have build a new controller both for the AW4 and CNG control so its hidden in the new center consol.
