anyone used with a 199 crankshaft in a 4.0?

I have not used one but I do have one 199 crank in the garage. If I were to use it I would have to machine the crank to accept the pilot for my 904 converter as it only has a small pilot. After that it is just the matter of having a set of pistons made. Not sure I would use 4.0 rods though. I have not got that far yet.

how much machine work is need to have it accept the re42 or aw4 tranny?

if you use 6 of the 4g54t turbo rods and machine a tiny bit of the rods width they will bolt in and then run sum g.m 3.898 pistons and then bore of a 4.0 and there u go.. very long rod 3.5L roughly
