Can a block bored 30 over still be machined and used for a stroker?

Swaping 258 to 4.0, 4.0 parts to 258 etc!

I have a lead on a 4.0 block, but it is already bored 30 over.
Is this block still a candidate for a stroker build?
Stroker: 4.59L, SCR 9.47, Hesco 1995 MPI with adjustable FPR, TJ intake connected to grill, aftermarket OEM-size exhaust.
CJ-8: mostly stock, but becoming less so.
D44 rear, 2.73 gears on 31", T-176

Yup. Many people skip right to a 60 over just for the displacement.

And some of us even knock it to plus 80.

Thanks guys for the education.
I didn't know what the safety factor was on a 4.0L block's cylinder walls.

I carry pistons up to a 3.970 bore which still safely allows you plenty of cylinder wall thickness.

That's a reasonable stopping point if you still want to utilize and have the convenience of a stock and commonly available 4.000 Bore head gasket.
