seeking best power direction with inventory

Post by Rcactech »

Hi all, I have a 90 wrangler with a 258 complete, and 258 complete parts less the block, and a carbureted 4.0 complete. What is my best path to more power on the cheep with what I have? The 4.0 is .30/ not sure if a 4.2 crank was dropped in but i think this is my cheapest way forward?? i will keep the carb, also will get rid of the computer if I can any input be great! Thinking to retire the AX15 and go with a mustang t 5 opinion appreciated.

Thanks all

Keep the AX15. It's plenty strong enough. Use the 4.0 block, rods, and head. Use the 258 crank. Get pistons from Russ, along with a new bump stick if you can afford it.
