First Stroker build- First startup question
I just did the 30 minutes at 2500 RPM and it went well. One observation was how hot the exhaust from the tailpipe was. It melted a plastic fan that I had positioned to vent my garage. The fan was about 2-3 inches from the pipe. It was too hot to hold my hand at the opening. The temp gauge never went above 210 and the valve cover wasn’t too hot to touch, but I’ve never felt exhaust that hot. Anyone have a similar experience?

Normal. You just aren't normally checking the temp like that since you are driving down the road with air flow cooling everything down. Just FYI I cooked my cat breaking it in like that a couple years ago. Melted the inside of it. I had a barrel fan pointed at the ceramic coated header but not the cat. Whoops.
