45 degree intake manifold adapter (crossflow head solution)

simple idea. Buy a pizza slice shaped piece of aluminum stock as long, or thick as my intake manifold. on one of the radius faces ill trace the intake ports of the head, on the other radius face Ill trace the intake manifold ports. Ill use a drill press to get rid of as much metal as I can to clear out the runners and final shape and basically carve out the rest with a die grinder. This new adapter will cant the intake manifold up towards the hood creating nearly (accourding to the fake calculation that I ran in my head) 2cubic feet of space. Enough for a turbo anyways...
Any ideas?

I could even flip the manifold upside down and mount the turbo straight to the throttle body.

Im not at all good with drafting software, but this is the idea. Thoughts?

What if you had a log manifold that positioned the turbo above the bottom of the block? Now what if that manifold cost under $300?

That's the goal here. I see this manifold working, by either flipping it upside down or cutting out the floor and throttle body port and swapping them around. Each of these ideas have their own problems. Welding cast aluminum is tough (many think its impossible). I have talked to a guy who described a process that I'd like see. I like this idea better than flipping the manifold as I see the injectors existing in such close proximity to the exhaust pipes being problematic.

You still need to decide how you will mount the turbocharger on your exhaust.
