Hi I'm new to the Forum. Looking to build a stroker for my 2006 Jeep LJ with d30 front and d44 rear, just rebuilt the auto transmission with cooler added. 488 gears, 33's with 4 inch lift.. Was wanting to know the liability on your stroker and see how many miles you were getting on you build. Looking for some extra power since I pull a small tent trailer. I don't do any rock crawling.
So please post your build with mileage you have on it.or any suggestions. Thanks

I don't drive much each year but my 89 Jeep MJ Comanche on 35" tires and 3:73 gears with a AW4 and custom stall converter has 28K KM which I think is 20K miles and Its been nearly 3 years since I built it...

I don't know how many miles I have on the stroker I built in 1991 for my Jeep but it is still running fine. It has been used and abused while trail riding, bouncing off the rev limiter when in sand or mud. It is a short rod version with a 12 counterweight crank, 258 rods and cast autothermic pistons.

I have a 2006 LJ and have had the 4.7 in since the beginning of April, to date about 7,100 miles. Driven it rock crawling and highways all over the west, handles the high passes of Colorado with no issues pulling a small A-Frame pop-up trailer.

Like you, 4" lift, 34" tires, 4.88 gears. I have the 6-spd, not the auto.

I have no doubts this engine will run another 100K miles.
