Test without new bbcode:

Model Manufacturer Rating
1 1.com 4
2 Crane 6
3 2.com 2
4 Comp 1

Now the same thing with new bbcode:
Model Manufacturer Rating
1 1.com 4
2 Crane 6
3 2.com 2
4 Comp 1
How to do it:

Code: Select all

[table]

[row]
[cell]Model[/cell]
[cell]Manufacturer[/cell]
[cell]Rating[/cell]
[/row]

[row]
[cell]1[/cell]
[cell]1.com[/cell]
[cell]4[/cell]
[/row]

[row]
[cell]2[/cell]
[cell]Crane[/cell]
[cell]6[/cell]
[/row]

[row]
[cell]3[/cell]
[cell]2.com[/cell]
[cell]2[/cell]
[/row]

[row]
[cell]4[/cell]
[cell]Comp[/cell]
[cell]1[/cell]
[/row]

[/table]
And this time with new bbcode and a zebra style background:
Model Manufacturer Rating
1 1.com 4
2 Crane 6
3 2.com 2
4 Comp 1
How to do it:

Code: Select all

[table]

[row=4]
[cell]Model[/cell]
[cell]Manufacturer[/cell]
[cell]Rating[/cell]
[/row]

[row=2]
[cell]1[/cell]
[cell]1.com[/cell]
[cell]4[/cell]
[/row]

[row=3]
[cell]2[/cell]
[cell]Crane[/cell]
[cell]6[/cell]
[/row]

[row=2]
[cell]3[/cell]
[cell]2.com[/cell]
[cell]2[/cell]
[/row]

[row=3]
[cell]4[/cell]
[cell]Comp[/cell]
[cell]1[/cell]
[/row]

[/table]
Looking at the above example you can see all that was added was a number to each row. #4 is the darkest color, and works well for the headings. Then i just alternated between 2 and 3 to get the zebra effect. You should be able to use 1 also.. so you can really get creative if you want to:
Model Manufacturer Rating
1 1.com 4
2 Crane 6
3 2.com 2
4 Comp 1
