Renix info wanted

Post by jbxx »

I have a little time on my hands so I am researching some info for an 88 Jeep.
Here is what I've come up with so far. Please feel free to add/ change anything.
I have also posted this on the Renix Yahoo group.

Coolant temperature
Hotter the coolant the lower the resistance
Adjusts A/F ratio
colder=richer hotter=leaner
Adjusts: injector pulse width
idle speed
advances timing when cold
energises EGR valve to shut off EGR when cold
[A- sensor ground to D3 on ECU, coolant temp in from B
to ECU on C10]
Deg F Resistance
-40 100.7K

Manifold Air temperature
Adjusts A/F ratio
colder=richer hotter=leaner
Adjusts: injector pulse width
idle speed
advances timing when cold
energises EGR valve to shut off EGR when cold

Very interesting!!

One thing I caught was CPS output voltage. The numbers are correct but it's AC voltage.
