Does it matter which Pistons go in which cylinder if the reusing them. Same as rods just as long as you have the correct cap on the original rod that it was mated with.
So I can just swap the pistons around and put them in the correct cylinder number. I am using the donor block as well as the pistons.

For just the upgrade cost of a 3.500 stroke 232 crankshaft you’ll be in the Jeep Stroker club. : )

You’re welcome to hit me up if you need any specifics on the parts.
I would love to stroke the engine for her Jeep but she is a college student on a budget and is more interested in transportation. Plus the Jeep is on a 2X. Can use the cam and crank from the 2000 in the 92 block and when I order parts for the block do they need to be for that year?

The 2000 will have a Camshaft set up for a thrust plate.
The early HO block utilizes the drilled out Cam bolt, spring and pin design in order to Control the thrust of the camshaft.

Certainly welcome to give me a call if you have any further questions.
