Show off your painted stroker!

Post by SkylinesSuck »

I know it's not exactly tech related, but I couldn't find a better place.

Show me some pictures of your painted engines! Trying to get ideas for what to paint mine. Plus Jeep stroker porn so everyone loves that. Thanks!

I couldn't figure out what color either, until I ran across a Austin Healey forum where guys are using this color. It appealed to me so I went with it for the block, head, pan & cover. I used a VHT "aluminum" color for the timing cover, manifold, water pump and water neck.

Looks good Bill,

Having owned three Austin Healey’s, that color brings back a lot of good memories.
Good choice.

I like that, thanks for the pic! I'm considering good old black like factory, or maybe that color you posted. Still open to more suggestions. I've seen some brighter stuff like neon green, orange, or red and I think I'm not a fan, but my mind could always be changed.

Sweet i need to call you about whatever I need to mount my oil filter too.

And I should have specified, my mind can't be changed to go with neon green lol. I just meant other than black or the above kinda silver

I was going to paint mine regular red, but now that somebody has done a stroker up in Austin Healey green, honor may demand that I make mine MG red.
