Injector size question.

Post by waterfall »

Question for you guys. ( i searched on here and have been researching for hours)

I have a fresh rebuild 4.0 HO. Bored .030 and Has comp cams X4250H-13 and 9.1 to 1 CR. The rest is stock. Will have the reduced portion of pipe (just after collector) gone before i fire it up. Also higher flowing muffler.

Stock size injectors be OK? from what i read they are 22lb but since std pressure is 31/39 its 21lb actual.
or should i go to 24lb. ???

I also considered stock size and adjustable regulator. But until i put the wideband on it i just want it to be safe. It plugged #1 injector and broke the top ring. Thats the reason it came out for rebuild. So im ordering 4 hole injectors but want to get the proper size.

Thanks in advance for any info/advice. Dave

The stock size should be in the jeep from 17 to 18 inches and it also depends on the jeep user as in which size the user will be comfortable. There are a specific size for a specific model as well.
