My 99 XJ has a 4L stock engine, except for 205F thermostat and high flow air intake.
I have heard of people using Dodge Neon fuel injectors, or some type Ford fuel injectors, to improve gas mileage in stock 4L engines.
Which fuel injectors would work best for improving fuel economy without losing any performance?
Which fuel injectors?

Re: Which fuel injectors?
I did the "703" injector upgrade on my 97 Xj I noticed a slight difference in mileage ,they plugged directly in I'm not positive but I think your 99 has the newer ev6 style clip so if your going to do the neon ones you'd want the "784"'s instead of the 703's same Shit just different connector clip! There not only in neons either a lot of Chryslers have them I think there's a write up a naxja that has a list of the cars and years the 703's & 784's are in also if you pull em at a junkyard make sure you clean the hell out of them and flow test them ,new pintle caps and o rings

Re: Which fuel injectors?
the 703 or 784s are too large on the later 49 psi rail for a stock engine. ~24 lb/hr.
