I'm at my brother's house today along with a bunch of family members to celebrate my Grandma's 94th birthday. I have a bunch of parts and tools still here since I used to live with him. I grabbed my dial caliper and decided to measure the Fel Pro 26211 PT headgasket(says for '04-06 4.0s on the package) that we'll be using on the 5.0l stroker and I measured .037" on the metal layers w/o the blue gasket and .056" w/ the blue gasket. Anyhow, this headgasket is rated .040" compressed, so I thought I'd share the measurements.

Re: Fel Pro 26211 PT Headgasket
Thanks. We need a database for this stuff.
I went with a full Victor kit for my 2001. I measured 0.042" on the metal, 0.058" on the sealer beads. I believe spec for this one is 0.043" compressed?
It would be nice if we had a few thicknesses to choose from to fine tune CR and quench distance....having a block decked is too expensive (and permanent) to not have it right the first time.

Re: Fel Pro 26211 PT Headgasket
When I built my stroker, I ordered the mopar P4529245 engine gasket tear down set assuming it was gonna come with the P4529245/Victor Reinz .043" MLS headgasket, along with the other necessary gaskets(didn't use any of the cork, so basically the kit was wasted on me). It turned out to be the FelPro 9076pti .051" headgasket. Anyhow, if I ever have to remove the head, I'll be using the ~.011" thinner 26211 and upgrade the headbolts to ARPs. Thus far, in >30K and almost four years, I have had issues with a stock-style single roller timing chain, by Federal Mogul, and two coils fail: a <1 yr Accel(no/hard start and no rev above 3K) and a brand new MSD failed halfway around the block on the road test after the new Rollmaster timing chain was installed. Oh yeah, I've also worn out an Auburn LSD and have broken a Hurst shifter(snapped it below the pivot going into 2nd one night).

do you happen to remember if the 26211 had the 4inch bore?
