Forged piston wait is ending soon ($100 price drop)

Post by Jeepsr4ever »

We just did a huge buy on forgings and should have them in 5 weeks. We got such a good deal on these we are able to drop our price $100 on a set of 6 pistons. So forged pistons for your project are now under $430. I know some have waited a while for these in the past and the tooling and forging progression was slow but its all done and we are "forging" ahead.

Who is "We"? That's a good price. I'm sorry to read of Montelibre paying ~2xs that price and having to wait a 1/2 year+ to get the Bulltears(lame).

For feeling alluded:
I paid $525 plus shipping for the custom pistons. I waited about 4 months (one month was due to a problem with the rings, because they do not sell rings, told me Bulltear)
I think that price is very interesting (similar price with a standard forged pistons)

Yes he did pay $525 from us and had a 4-month wait. Custom pistons that were normally 3 weeks out were WAY out on that size due to the forging house (4 months this last spring). We are going to have in stock pistons in many compression ratios at $425 and have solved the issue with the forging house. You will not find a piston of this quality at that price. Custom orders will be charged $15 more due to the ordering time and will be subject to a three week wait. Its been a bumpy road but we are in it for the long haul.
