I wish more people would give feedback ... especially on some of the suggestions brought up in this thread. If interest is shown in something for this board, thats what motivates me to do it. If there is little to no interest, then it will be put on the back burner.

Helping fellow members first hand and meeting up possibly. Could list members by state then a local city. Guess alot depends also on how many people there really is. Just a suggestion. Any one else think this may be a good idea?
You could always go to members in the upper right and sort the list by location.
Now I can be like all those other awesome people with more than one Jeep in their sig, but now I have to say one of them is sold:(

Where is the "view the first unread post" link? I see a view the last post link and that's it, I always have to find the most recent post manually.

The icon I'm looking for is there, it's just a very small orange square with a downward right pointing arrow. :smack: I don't know how I missed this before. JeepForum uses large Fischer Price buttons for everything, but the style here is much more sophisticated.

What about putting something in our profiles on the mods and Jeep/AMC/Other we have instead of people cluttering up their sigs with it?

Doesnt sound like a bad idea. They would be custom profile fields.... What would the labels be?

Year, make, model.. then maybe different fields for engine mods, suspension, drive train, interior, audio, etc... or you could just put the modifications into one field

Done, thanks for the suggestion. You can check my profile for how it looks.

memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2

To modify your own, go into your "User Control Panel" and click on "Profile". Alternatively, you can use the link below:

ucp.php?i=164

I'm sorry if this has been suggested before, I have not taken the time to read through all the pages of suggestions yet.

As a new member trying to gather facts about how to build my stroker I found all the information overwelming. In my mind I'm thinking it would be nice to have several "stickies" near the top of the first page of one the categories or maybe more likely in it's own sub-category as not to clutter things up. Each of the stickies would be titled "4.5L- What I Did" , next would be "4.6L - What I Did", and so on. And it would not be a place to ask questions but rather a place where someone can detail their build and the results (power, mpg, performance, etc...) and also indicate any failures they've had or obstacles they've had to overcome. I just feel there are so many variations about how to build a stroker it would be better to see some more real world results, especially when they would be somewhat separated into different levels of build.

If such threads already exist could someone point me to them?

Thanks! Great site BTW!
