Donations

Post by Muad'Dib »

I'm in the process of modding this board even more with a "Donation" link to help with the cost of maintaining this site, hosting etc.

This is in no way mandatory. You are not, in any way, required to donate. Hence the term "Donate". I want to make that very very clear. This site is free and always will be.

However, its always nice to have a little extra money to help pay for everything that this site requires... and some people just plainly like to show their appreciation via donation. That is why I'm adding a Donation mod.

If you want to donate now (since the mod is not done yet), you can do so by clicking the image below: (You can donate as much as you want to)

LINK REMOVED

What I'm trying to figure out is what kind of incentive i should have in place for this? As you may or may not have seen, i already have a "Donators" group. This group will have special permissions that the "normal" user wont have... What those special permissions are, well thats what i'm trying to figure out.

Most of the time when someone does this, they allow that certain group a bigger PM box for example. I'm also considering making a special forum that only the "Donators" have access to. Kind of like a "private" section that Donators can use to post things they normally couldn't in the public section of this board (like a super hot naked girl for example).

Your feedback on this matter, and donations are extremely appreciated ;)

Thanks!

Sounds good... ive already been looking into getting decals / window stickers.. but not the t-shirts.

What kinds of design's would you like to see on them?

i think a more simple version of the logo would be better for t-shirts/decals.

What size decal is ideal? Something like 2" x 6"?

Sounds great-- we have something for NJJC-- in clear plastic with the logo in black and white. This works for most body colors.

I agree with the black and white...I asked my gf I the logo stick would look good on my Jeep and she said it doesnt match the Forest Green. Perhaps solid Jeep, outlined strokers, and underlined by some sort of flame, cause Im not sure if you would be able to tell what it is without color.
Now I can be like all those other awesome people with more than one Jeep in their sig, but now I have to say one of them is sold:(
97 XJ 4.6
90 MJ 4.0 - sold

I want to have as many Jeeps as children. DD, offroader, drag MJ and another one. 4=4
