Re: Pushrod question
Your best bet is to buy a pushrod checker tool to measure the required length.

Yes, measure, don't guess. I was shocked when I measured mine. Long story, but don't assume.

Re: Pushrod question
And I'll say further that your deck height, how much has been milled off the head, and cam base circle affect the required length, not lift/duration of your cam.

Re: Pushrod question
With the cam on the base circle (heal of cam) the plunger in most lifters should be depressed .040 to .080KarmaKannon1 wrote: ↑June 14th, 2020, 6:46 pm Does someone have instructions on how to check pushrod length?
As previously mentioned an adjustable pushrod will make this task much easier to measure.
Comp Cams makes a pretty spiffy pushrod checker #7704-1
