Pushrod question

While I'm waiting for the cam kit to ship do any of you guys know the correct pushrod length for the lunati 262/268 camshaft?

Your best bet is to buy a pushrod checker tool to measure the required length.

Yes, measure, don't guess. I was shocked when I measured mine. Long story, but don't assume.

And I'll say further that your deck height, how much has been milled off the head, and cam base circle affect the required length, not lift/duration of your cam.

Does someone have instructions on how to check pushrod length?

With the cam on the base circle (heal of cam) the plunger in most lifters should be depressed .040 to .080
As previously mentioned an adjustable pushrod will make this task much easier to measure.

Comp Cams makes a pretty spiffy pushrod checker #7704-1
