Throttle body

Picked up a 63mm throttle body yo install on the new stroker (going to be installing it next month). And since we were going out last weekend I decided to install it on our stock 4.0.
I really didn't know what to expect. Didn't know if it would be to big and bog the motor down.
Boy was that wrong. It really woke the motor up. It ran great. The throttle response was incredible. I had to learn how to drive it all over again. Had to learn how to make it crawl over the rocks. I just had to basically rest my foot on the gas to get it to crawl. any more and it was like a 1/4 throttle with the old one. They must really choke the motor with the stock throttle body.
Looking forward to seeing what the stroker does with this throttle body.

I ran a modified Mustang 65mm TB on my stroker and the throttle response was fantastic. I absolutely loved it.

Once you strip down both the Mustang 65mm TB and the stock Jeep TB, it'll be obvious what you'll need to modify on the Mustang TB to make it work with the Jeep throttle shaft/IAC module and Mustang throttle blade. Fortunately the Jeep TPS is a straight swap.
Since the Mustang TB was 65mm and the intake manifold plenum opening was 62mm, I tapered the existing TB spacer that I had on my Jeep to match each end.
