I've got a new Stage1 505performance cam on late 4.0 core.
I would rebuild my 4.6 stroker on 944.030 KB's ICONs.
I have cam specs picture but I can't understand which one of separation angles should I use in Stroker Compression Ratio Calculator to calculate DCR? 114 or 110 degree?
Anyway I assume to mill block to reach 0.01" deck clearance. With 0.043" gasket it will give me CR9.5 and 0.053 quench.

Re: Cam specs
Hi Albert,
The 114 number is the number that you use and that is the lobe separation angle.
110 is the lobe centerline used for purpose of degreeing the camshaft in

Dear Russ!
Thanks a lot! You are helpful as always.
So my calculations give me CR9.51 and DCR7.59 assuming parameters above. That is what I look for.

Re: Cam specs
Are these numbers nice?
Config:
- block WJ 1999 milled 0.020"
- crank 4.2
- rods 4.0 WJ 1999
- pistons KB'944.030 21.7cc dish; 1.353" compression height
- molly rings
- 505perf stage1 cam on a late style core
- 0.043 gasket
- stock minor ported head
CR9.48/DCR7.57
Quench 0.051
Or maybe to milll block 0.010"-0.015"?
Thanks

Re: Cam specs
I’d take another .010 to .015 off the deck to tighten up the quench.

Re: Cam specs
Do you mean take 0.030-0.035 off?
I guess not all blocks and rods might be the same height and length.

Re: Cam specs
You’ll want shoot for .035 - .045 piston to head.
