Post by SkylinesSuck »

Anybody got a part number? Is it the same for all 258 and 4.0 cranks?

Should be the same as regular 4.0. If you have a long nose crank you will need a spacer to get the damper completely sucked in tight though

For reference, Chrysler discontinued the bolt/washer kit, but I think this Dura-Bond FKA-1 kit will work:

I use a damper bolt for a BBC. Many of them have an extra tall head that the socket can hang on. Works perfect.

I was planning to use a regular grade 8 bolt of the same length, along with the original thick washer.

Original bolt is 1/2-20 x 1.25”, for reference.
