Hi all, i bought a completely rebuilt stroker 4.0. for $300 a gift for sure from a cj guy who pulled it to drop in the 4.2. I got some jeep guys to assist with swap. We used the 4.2 flywheel and 4.2 starter, she tuns over. I added the dolman 99 intake so I need help with the power steering bracket to the dolman intake for a serpentine set up and P/S stability. Carburetor adaptors for a Weber are in place but which one from these options? http://www.webercarbsdirect.com/Weber-Carburetors-s. I replaced harness under dash due to rat damage but ignition does not engage starter seems like a wire is missing at the starter, please if any one can post a starter photo of one wired correctly that view would be great. I may also need vac hose photo for the new carburetor as this is my first jeep/auto project and green I am. So As i sort this out and learn to up load photos my progress will be view-able. I did drop oil pan on my stroker all inside is new and the pilot bearing I used was one from the old crank B/C the new was way too big. I got lucky, I put that bering in 30 days before the rod went on old 4.2 engine that is how I know she is stroked and fit with out a hitch now the bugs. All help is greatly appreciated thank you verry much. In the mean time I will drop fuel tank and clean it as it is fairly new.
