I can only speak two fluently (English & Greek) and I know only a few words of Russian.
A lot of Russians visit Cyprus so I'll probably learn the language properly in the coming months.

Thanks a lot. I decided to drop CR to 10:1 by enlarging combustion chamber in head by 5cc - it will be rational and safe.
I know one professional sport's mechanic that will do it for me or I'll buy a dremel toll and do it by myself.
Hi, guys!
I broke my mind thinking about CR and DCR.
Could you explain please what is better - CR 10.2 with 0.051" quench and OEM head gasket or CR 10.5 with 0.043" quench and MSL gasket? What will resist detonation better?
You'll be better off tightening up the quench .008 so I'd go with the .043 MLS Gasket. If you're able to find somebody in your town that has a radius end mill bit and can trace and deepen your existing dish and surface .005 to .008 off the deck of the block, that would further help you.

Hi, Russ! Thanks for reply.
Do you mean piston will be .005-.008" out of the block and quench .035 to .038?
That's correct.
I'll always advise my customers to shoot for .008 out of the deck. The reason for that is you have two readily available gasket choices. A .043 MLS Gasket will put you about .035 piston to head. A .051 Fel-Pro composition gasket will put you at .043 piston to head at TDC.
Both gasket combinations will allow you to maintain a good quench and allow for some flexibility with inconsistent measurements or variances.

On a .030 (3.905) bore a Sealed Power 677AP piston skirt should measure 3.90376 plus or minus .00025
So the answer to your proper clearance would be .001 to .0015 is what I'd put it. Usually if the skirt is coded you add .001 to your clearance.
Hi guys!
Could you explain me if I mill the deck 0.040" will I need shorter pushroads? If "yes" then what's maximum block shaving option for stock pushroads?
