2001 stroker project

Post by Xj01 »

Hey guys, looking to start a stroker project! Couple question for u all.. Which is the best 4.2 crankshaft to use? Second question my current jeep is a 2001 cherokee, and I have a spare 1998-1999 block from cherokee Xj mail jeep. Will all my stuff off of my 2001 XJ work on this block? Or should I use my current block? Thanks

The '99 and '01 blocks have a cam retainer plate and '99+ cam and are different than the '98 which uses a pin/spring and '98 down cam..
