I tried calling them today twice. Both times were dead ends. Once I got put on hold for 30 mins. and hung up. Then when i did get someone they didn't have an answer for me. :)

I called mopar performance today to try to get some specs on the MP 30AB cam...which they didn't have. I asked the guy I was talking to about the MP stroker that was mentioned in the 4wheel article. He said he would have to check with the Jeep division. He took my name and and called me back a few hours later. He said they are working on it. He said something about they just got back from Moab, and where working on it...I guess working the bugs out. He said, in his opinion it probably wouldn't be available till late in the year. I didn't ask any specifics about the engine, as he was just a middle man relaying the message and probably wouldn't know.

hahah, man I hate to admit it but I do shop there... a guy like me can't afford all the cool tools I'd like to own... 39.99 HF drill press [check] 199.99 TIG welder [check] (works great believe it or don't) 90% of my metal and fabrication tools are from China Freight :(

Now a 199.99 4.6L stroker... I would be all over that hahah

Im pretty sure that that information is at least a year old.

From what i understand both models are not anymore produced by BBDC (the former Beijing Jeep). The Grand Cherokee is only available directly imported from the US, the 2500 is now in production at Beijing Auto Works as Qishe 2500.
