What company makes Jeep 4.0 camshafts in USA

Post by dwg86 »

I was hoping to contact a company that makes cam blanks for the Jeep 4.0. I have a mopar performance camshaft with the wide lobes, and was hoping to see what can be done about casting new blanks with wider lobes. Someone must already have the molds, because the stock 4.0, and mopar performance cams came with wider lobes.

Never mind. I did a search on CWC camshafts, and found it.
Thanks

A company called Textron. As far as I can tell, Michigan is where the camshafts are made. If you do a search on "CWC Camshafts", you can get some information on the company. I am wanting to see if the wider lobe camshaft blanks are still available. I am not sure who to contact yet, or if will do any good being that I am a single consumer and not a camshaft company....But it doesn't hurt to try. As the saying goes"The squeaky wheel gets the grease".
