Re: Recomendations
Sorry fedrusion, I missed your question about the depth. It's .200" from the top face of the piston.
Riversidefort, I did them myself, I program and run a CNC milling machine for a living. PERKS!
I've done stock pistons for myself and silvolites for one of the guys on the yahoo group. Still have the fixturing, PM me if you need someone to machine some.

I'm not clever enough to have a clever signature. I'll just steal yours.

Re: Recomendations
I've got my extra set from the 4.2 that I'm going to play around with at work before I try to dish the pistons from the 4.0 that I'm planning to use. Thanks for the depth.

Re: Recomendations
out of curiosity, have you completed the motor those pistons you machined are going into? if so, how are they doing?

Re: Recomendations
Haven't finished the build, yet. Even after finishing the engine, before it can be installed, I need to aquire all the parts necessary to swap a 4.5/AW4 combo into a 2.5/30RH YJ.
