Coilpack stroker

Ok guys I have a 2000 xj 4.0 ported throttle body ported intake manifold ported head just intake side hemi intake valves 3 angle valve job superchip f4 I usually use it for sand duning and 1/8 mile sand drags wanted to stroke it out but was wondering if it's possible with coil packs since majority of stroker I see are distributor if any modifications need to be made to my eco thanks guys really appreciate it

The only difference is that you'll need to have the ECU reprogrammed to take into account the new cam specs as well as larger injectors, and you would have needed an ECU reprogram anyway.

My 2001 XJ's stroker has a 7120 head, along with the coil pack and the cam synchronizer, instead of a distributor
it all fits fine except for having to fabricate a simple set of brackets to support the coil pack

The coil pack can be replaced with a Viper coil pack and traditional spark plug wires.
