Honest Jeep. Driven Daily from Grocery to House, House to Farm, Farm to Trail. My Jeep is not in any way a show Jeep. Stays garaged cause the top/doors stays off from April to October. Basic stuff, 3" lift, Fox shocks, Wench, replaced rear bumper with "trail bumper" to have a hitch, rebuilt the dana 35 to mimic a "Super35", mostly cause it suited my needs and I enjoyed the project. Re-geared from factory 3.55 to 4.73. Replaced AC compressor, water pump, clutch, radiator, coil, etc (basic maint). I have known this jeep since it was bought new by a friend right out of High school. ended up in a barn. My long time best friend and I revived it, and my two sons (Starting when they were just 5 years old) and I have kept it alive and made it the kind of Jeep that good American kids are raised in. They both learned to drive in it, learned manual in it... it is legit the kind of stuff country songs are written about, except most of the work is done at my house where the tools are, not the farm where the work/play is. Always work to be done to the jeep. Next big step is the engine... need to rebuild, buy or build as a stroker, or something. runs ok, but my oldest sons have now grown and our time with the jeep is focused on cross country trips... Our next trip is KY to Cali and back pulling a small trailer... that's a lot to ask of a 26 year old motor.
