This jeep was my daily driver in college (1999-2003) and a while after. I kept the jeep and it has seen some trail use since then but mostly sits. I'm in the process of putting in all new braking, cleaning out the fuel system, rebuilding the carb and putting as flat a belly as I can under it.
I haven't been wheeling since moving to TX from AL in 2014 and have been missing the trail. Eventually I have to go to fuel injection since I don't want to mess with propane.
Can't decide between 4.0 head/fuel injection swap, combining my motor and a donor 4.0 for a stroker build or doing a junkyard LS swap. Probably stick with the I-6 in the end to keep from needing a new tranny. Currently researching the options and keeping an eye out for a donor.
