After finishing the stroker swap and getting her back on the road i began to notice the Aw4 acting a little funny. On initial take off from a stand still, i have a hard time getting it to rev past 3500 RPM's before it wants to upshift. When it does upshift there is a noticable delay in gear change. Its like it disengages and then reengages after a second or so. Other gear changes are normal. And if i move the shifter to the 1-2 position i can rev to around 5K RPM before it shifts at which point there is no delay in gear change. Strange.
Dont know what to make of it. Been slowly changing the tranny fluid out. Could it maybe be the TCM? Worn out all together (120K miles)? Problems with Stroker power? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The TPS was no help unfortunately. I guess there is a chance the used one i swapped in was bad as well. Any other ideas?

Re: AW4 acting strange...
Ive had very very bad luck with used TPS's... I alternated between 5 different ones, because each time a problem i was having would come back .. everything would point to the TPS. I bought a new one of rockauto.com, and the problem is fixed.car12586 wrote:The TPS was no help unfortunately. I guess there is a chance the used one i swapped in was bad as well. Any other ideas?

You're lucky that hundred shot of CAPS LOCK didn't blow the welds on the forum!!
