I’ve just assembled my first Stroker in my 1989 XJ
I sourced my parts through Russ Pottenger. 7120 head.
99+ intake. BBK throttle body. Running the stock renix ecm.
The motor fired right up but hesitates and runs rough as soon as the throttle body is opened.
Fuel pressure holds steady at near 40lbs. I’m stumped all sensors worked well last week when I pulled the old motor. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
New 4.7 starts but but won’t run over 1000 rpms.

Check the TPS and MAP sensor. Also make sure the vacuum line to the MAP sensor is intact.

Crank position sensor. Thanks for the reply. The motor is alive and I am impressed!
