Greetings to all,
Nice forum you have here! Very nice job Muad'Dib. I've been lurking for a while, then joined so I could keep track of where I'd been. Now I think it's time for me to join the fray.
An intro... My vehicle is a 95 Grand Cherokee, mostly stock. No lift, but does have a Mike Leach Header, Cat & back, and bored TB (just 60mm). I started a huge project to Lift the Jeep, and stroke it, back in early 1996. Then the money ran out. But not before I'd accumulated a whole lot of parts! Now I think I'm going to dust off the block, and put the Stroker together. Might as well. Stock motor has 196,000 and won't pass smog.
So, Greetings from Jerry in California!
New here, Greetings!

Opps!!! I meant the project started in 2006. Not 1996. Slip of the brain. Yes, that would have been quite a while ago. I have another appointment with the smog shop tomorrow. One last try to see if we are making any progress, before throwing in the towel on the stock motor.SilverXJ wrote:That was quite a few years ago! Hope you get 'r done this time.
Thanks Muad'Dib. This a great way for information to be collected in one place. I'm watching (as many are) the success or failure of aftermarket cams. In my pile of parts, I have the dreaded Crane 905. I also have all the Mopar springs (the 494s I believe), retainers, and keepers. Just not to sure I want to put that in now. Perhaps time will help me decide.
Thanks again, and Merry Christmas to all.
Jerry
