68-231-4 cam ok to use?

Post by jeep7081 »

Not doing a stroker. Doing the head with LS1 valves. I have the 703 injectors. Along with 99+ intake. The exhaust is 2.5" from maifold to tail pipe. Not to mention hypertech III and k&n CAI.

I was wanting to do the head with LS1 valves and a cam. Is the 68-231-4 ok?

Thanks

Yeah, that cam will do fine but you'll need to upgrade the valve springs. If you're going to use LS1 valves, the LS1 valve springs should be suitable but check their recommended installed height and the spring pressures before you use them.

Is the cam worth doing? Am I going to notice the power gain?

It says not for fuel injection. Looks like everyone uses it though?

Its their blanket statement for the LSA. It works very well with the stock Jeep fuel injection.
