I'm right there with ya....dropped mine in today.
I built mine myself....so no warranty. Hope I didn't mess up.
I ended up going with a Crower 44243 cam since my original had more wear than I first thought. Will work with stock valve springs, but I want to upgrade them after break-in.
Stock injectors for break-in, Ford 4L3E and XR3E's on the shelf for testing.
Good luck with the break-in!

Thanks for the luck.
The engine roared to life on first crank. Break in was uneventful. The only observed problem is an exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold to exhaust pipe.
There is a few odds and ends to be done but I am looking forward to putting this engine to good use getting me to and from work!

It runs and drives great, great power, no downshifting going up hills on the highway. I am still babying the new engine but it is really awesome. Very happy and the Fuel Injectors that were said to be too large for the application are running great. Oil pressure is SOLID (Melling HV), the temp was on the button SOLID, hour long trip home ran like a top, break in was done at the shop before I picked it up.
I am looking forward to seeing how the performance improves over the coming months/miles.

If you are using the 27lb injectors I bet you are seeing around 10:1 AFR at WOT. And you might see some black smoke in your rear view as well.

I will be looking into this and if the AFR its too high, I'll replace them. I am looking at buying two correct sets right now. But honestly, I do not operate my Jeep at WOT.

No, really I don't.
I usually down shift (manual 5 speed) if I need the extra torque and I try to keep my RPM's below 3000 and that is both my Jeep Wranglers irrespective of this STROKER. Now I do bring the R's up much quicker on my 4.0L as it is "seasoned" at 157k on the motor but I never need to WOT, at least that I realize.

wow doesn't sound like you have any fun. i have a 96 vortec 350 with 302,000 miles that still runs like a raped ape and i've driven her like i stole her since the day i bought her with 7.5 miles on the clock

But realistically, low rpm torque is what gets the weight moving and makes it enjoyable to drive.

You just broke my heart a little bit- I have a CBR600RR, a 350Z, and the 4.7 stroker in the wrangler, and they all frequently see WOT each time they are driven... I thought it was human nature to want to feel the G forces of acceleration? I guess I´m a speed freak at heart, but I assumed that each of us had a tiny gremlin on our shoulder telling us ¨go ahead... just let ´er rip... I won´t tell anyone...¨
That being said... CONGRATS!
I plan to button mine up (stroker round 2) today and break her in tomorrow. By next week she´ll be terrorizing the streets again.

Thanks guys! And best of luck to y'all with your STROKERS.
We'll see what comes of this motor after it's fully broke in. I may do some WOT burnouts with my 35" BFG Mud Terrain KM's. The rear axle is a Dana 44 with a Detroit TruTrac and 4.56:1 gears, should handle the torque.
I now have all new: Centerforce II Pressure Plate, Centerforce Clutch Disc, Centerforce Billet Flywheel and throwout bearing on this stroker. I have always been concerned about burning up the clutch disc and when we swapped the motor the origonal chutch disc, pressure plate and throw out bearing were removed. The fingers on the pressure plate were a little worn but the clutch disc looked like it could go another 100k miles and the throwout bearing was needing to be replaced 40k miles ago.

Final deck height is stock 2002 block height (differs from prior years, I'll look it up and edit my answer)
Dynamic Compression Ratio (DCR) -
Static Compression Ratio - 8.9:1, the lowest we were able to attain with the stock combustion chamber volume.
