It always takes a little time to get things moving. I am still seeing quite a few posts on the Yahoo group so there are obviously a lot of folks that have yet to make it over here or are just a little resistant to the change...which is normal. ;)

Hell I thought 50 members in about two or three days was pretty good. the post count here is like 8 or 10 times the number of posts on the email list in the same time span. :? What did you expect 2000 members in 48 hours? heheh

yeah, i guess youre right. im just used to established boards with alot of activity. i suppose it is pretty good so far. for some reason i expected everyone from the list to start posting on here like crazy. thought people would want to take advantage of a more efficient venue for the exchange of information.

Thanks Flash I was particularly happy with how the piston came out myself.

As Muad'Dib AKA Chris pointed out the best way get the forum out there and get things growing is to just put http://www.jeepstrokers.com in your sig line. I've done this on a couple forums... Naxja doesn't allow sigs unless you're a member (I hate that).

Feel free to get the word out you all, just be sure and do it in a VERY non-spam way. If you see someone asking basic strokers questions point the forum out and the basics FAQ, that's a no brainer. If we can get someone with a little basic scripting talent to code up a full featured stroker calc that will generate traffic and members.

Mostly though post away here, the more posts here, the more subject matter that shows up in search engines like google...
There was a google bot crawling the site the other day... A couple days ago I googled something and the second hit was jeepstrokers.com.

The site will grow... there's no shortage of 4.0's a billion TJ's YJ's Cherokee's ZJ's MJ's and the 4.0 stroker is the logical and most bang for you buck power upgrade. There's nothing else coming down the pipe that will replace it any time soon.
