lifters

Post by rammit11 »

Hi I have a question on lifters. I have the ones that came with my comp cam and one has become a problem with bleeding down and being excessively noisy on start up. I was looking at the sealed power lifters ht2011 and ht 2011r. The r model is claiming to be a high rev version that operates at zero to near zero lash . I was wondering which is the better lifter for a street engine?

To use the R version you need adjustable rocker arms to get the preload very little. I recommend the Hylift/Johnson HT2011 lifters for good lifters.
