Hi.....here's my stuff
I found this site while looking for turbo AMC stuff. I am super impressed with TurboTom's Spirit! I have a 4.0L head on my .060" over 258. I also have a comp 260 cam, 2 1/2" exhaust, and GM thottle body injection. Well this is the stats on my 86 Eagle wagon. I also have a 83 SX/4 with almost 220,000mi on it, and dedicated wheeler which is also a SX/4.
Glad to have found this site!
Here's my junk! Enjoy!
The 86 Wagon
The "stock" SX/4 in the camp ground at the Easter Jeep Safari last year
And the main wheeler, too busy beat'n the tar outa it to get action pics

Re: Hi.....here's my stuff
To be honest the little black SX/4 is the most impressive. It runs 26" tires, has a 2spd t-case and lockers in both ends. The locker for the front was an experiment that has worked flawlessly. I used a (Lock Right) 94+ D35 C-clip locker in a D30 carrier. I had to machine the axleshafts to accept the D35 C-clips. That car is flat amazing. I have had it on several of the 4+ rated Moab trails, and have had it Dump Bump probably 12 times. And it pulls 25MPG on the drive down!
The green car has tipped the scales and has to perform well because of how modified it is. The wagon has lockers, a rear disc brake conversion (I built), a 2spd t-case, homebrew fuel injection, and long arm front suspension. It is my daily driver and has made several trips to Chicago (from WY), Moab, Bonneville, etc. I use it for camping because of the added space for the kids, wife, and gear.

Re: Hi.....here's my stuff
Amazing Stuff! I like the wagon the best as is similar to my Eagle wagon. Is that a solid front axle out of a Cherokee or something? How hard was the leaf spring set up for the front?
